A lovely, lovely song. I lost my mom and best friend a few mohths ago after a courageous battle with cancer. I wrote a song dedicated to her and others who have lost someone they love, a piano ballad called 'My Friend'. If you have a moment have a listen on my channel.

I think your mother can hear you singing your pain, she is with you, thank you or sharing your heartfelt love for your mother, my mother died 6 yrs ago, after being diagnosed with breast cancer she stayed for one month, the pain of loosing her is a daily battle for my siser and I, as she is all we had. My mother and I shared rainbows she would tell me when she was not near all i had to do was think of a rainbow and she was wrapping me in it to keep me safe, Now i tell my grandsons the same thnx.

@deshanda16 Hi, the rainbows in the clip are there for the excact same reason! My mom told us that when ever we saw a rainbow it would mean she was with us , showing us that she hadn't left and still loved us. Thanks for your kind words. Xx

I lost my dear Mother a year ago when she was age 99. I cared for her in her home until she completely lost her eyesight and then she told me it was time for her to go to a nursing home.. She loved music and thankfully, she kept her mental faculties. To this day I catch myself saying, "I'll have to ask Mom..." and then I remember of course that she left me a year ago. Thank you for this song. It so describes the way I feel. Lovely voice.
