The first song i wrote that didn't suck :D
I screwed up the lyrics a bunch and mumbled through almost every verse, but i will get a pro-recored version out when i can. For now, just read along and enjoy!
I knew a boy who could never feel safe,
He lived his life defensive, as an enemy of fate
After he met you, his life would begin
Where he'd never rest, try his best, not to sin.
And i don't know about, his plans,
But i know it was without, girlfriends.
Still somehow you lead him to what his life was missing,
and you forced his views farther, taking off his armor
And What could I say that would make you believe
That when you were with me, was when i felt free.
When it's plain to see.
Never mind the nights where we'd gaze at the stars,
Never mind the hundred times I've cried on this guitar.
After coming so far.
He couldn't believe that he let someone in.
Guard taken down, defenses wearing thin,
Sitting on your rooftop, the sun on your skin,
It would seem that fate has finally, dealt a hand to win
And i don't know about, your plans.
But he hoped he was involved, in them
He'd follow you down to the ends of the earth,
No matter what he wanted, babe you would come first.
And What could I say that would make you believe
That when you were with me, was when i felt free.
When it's plain to see.
Never mind the nights where we'd gaze at the stars,
Never mind the hundred times I've cried on this guitar
After coming so far.
But once again it's up to fate.
And you both reach a change of pace,
The end is coming close, "so this is what you chose"
"Don't like to me!"
"You're Paranoid!"
Oh GOD somebody stop the noise!
And if i can't say anything that'll make you believe
Then i'll write a song and sing it out and hope to god you see
I need you with me
Never mind the times that you cried in my arms
Never mind these lyrics, never mind the scars.
When we've come so far.
Come so far.
