Hold On To

OK, so a certain aspect of the song is like Tom Waits' "Hold On."

Now that we have that out of the way, it's a completely different song.

The camera shut off early but it was pretty much what I have written so far.

I wish I was prettier.

All that said, salut!

And yes, I will get a license for the software so the cheater banner goes away, thanks for noticing. :)

I left the line about wearing our pain like armor, but I took out the line after: "As we lean into the swell." Both OK lines in and of themselves, but quite a Python mental image mixed metaphor in close proximity. Songwroting in action!

Song writers amaze me how you weave words together to touch emotion. BTW: I love seeing an artist at work. Thanks for posting. :-)
