  • You taped this yourself? Great quality man!

  • @chrispg07 yep, this was the day of my Field trip. If you want i can send you more vids of the MSQ. i have plenty of more in my cam.

  • @ProtoZero67 Sure I'd like to see more. And you said she's not lonely right?

  • @chrispg07 Right. After researching the park very closley, i relised that she was with a Pilot Whale that was named "Christmas Cookie" in 1989. BTW, i'll upload more and showed them to you tomorrow.

  • @ProtoZero67 Well, Christmas Cookie has long since died -- so have Ganky and Tiaka (two Risso's dolphins) and several of the Pacific White Sided dolphins in her tank :/

Lolita has not been allowed to see another orca in approximately 30 years, since Hugo died in 1970. Naturally, in the wild, orcas remain with their family pods their entire lives. Lolita's pod is still alive and quite well in Seattle, WA... now if only she could join them again!

  • @peepchick101 BTW Hugo died on 1980 ( but i think you already know that )but i can tell you one thing though, He did not kill himself. According to most of the trainers at the time, they had to move him to the back of the "whale bowl". He did showed some signs of strange behavior. The next day, he died. :(

  • Poor girl, you have to agree that her living conditions are tragic, whether your pro or anti captivity.

  • GREG MAY of Orlando, FL says: "The year was 1977 and I was working for SeaWorld in Orlando. While visiting my relatives in Delray Beach, I took my little cousins Betty and Joey Mays tothe Seaquarium. If I could only find that 8mm movie the Seaquarium trainers took of me and Betty and Joey meeting Hugo and Lolita on the 'island' in the center of the Whale Bowl! My cousin Joey was ten years old when he stook his head in Lolita's mouth and talked about it for another ten years!"

  • She is so beautiful. It also seems that she is smarter than the other orcas that I have seen and looks a tad bit different. I understand that she is from a special breed of orcas that stay only in the pacific northwest and feed on salmon instead of seal. Mother nature is awesome.

  • Sorry Toki , very sorry

  • She needs to be retired. She did nothing wrong - Mr Hertz you have made e nough money off this great hunter of the sea. Let her be retired to a sea pen where she could talk to other Orcas and chase her own fish. How very sad that we think this is ok? She was born in the sea. Mr Hertz would you like to spend 40 years in that goldfish bowl? Let her go!!!!!

  • This is absoulty REDICULAS! How do they keep a 21 foot long killer whale in a tank that is only 20 feet deep!? Their simpily tourching an animal that has done NOTHING wrong!

  • :(

  • The day after my birthday.

  • Beautiful footage of Toki
