  • My only issue with Red Hood and the Outlaws is the handling of the Starfire character. I enjoy the characterization of Todd and Harper, but the revamp to Starfire just falls flat and distasteful. And I honestly don't think it even really adds to the book as opposed to a more classic version of the character.

Hawkman, I don't mind the changes to Hawkman himself, and I actually liked the first issue quite a bit, but when the villains came in during issue 2, the book just flatlined.

  • @misternug i have said that about all books that have more than on title. for example there should just be one Batman (Bruce Wayne book.. or one Spiderman-Peter parker book). So for Batman he should either be in Detective or in Batman.. so everything that happens to Batman (for example) happens to him in one book and one book alone. i have always found it silly that there can be 4 books for one "person" all at the same time in the same universe. So if Batman has a Robin then hes in that book 2

  • @RobsRogues I'm becoming more tolerant. I prefer a good story regardless of the character, but I'm also against oversaturation of a character. Too much is too much. 14 Batman titles are unnecessary. I'd settle for one good story.

  • Nug you say your not a Batman fan.. but hearing you review Batman you sound like you are becoming a fan.. is this true.. and if so.. is it beacuse of the reboot?

  • finally a fellow Red Tornado fan. Never have i seen a person that favors Red Tornado. I don't care what anybody says Red Tornado is the greatest character in the DC universe. Hope he comes back soon

  • Ima huge superman fan so im really trying to see where it goes to make any final judgements. Superboy and supergirl arent really doin it for me. Cymek the scarf and hat should be a signature in the vids from now on

  • Yeah, I agree on the Hawkman stuff is just bad. And the Superman stuff is just bad too.

  • Amazing, dudes. I love The New 52 and your reviews.

  • Great show guys, as always. As a huge Deathstroke fan, I totally agree with your assessment. I want it to be good, but it's just not there.

As for Blue Beetle, if you haven't read the old Blue Beetle (i.e. me), it's very enjoyable.

The one thing I will say for Green Lantern New Guardians is that every single ending has left me wanting more. Just like last week, I have to now read #4.

Red Hood and the Outlaws is my 100% choice for best New52 comic.
