@paulyhart that's what rome did. it took the advantages of their enemies and used it against them. greece, gaul, and huns all influenced rome.

@ninja909 but in the end, persia came in and stomped em. the movie 300 is a scene from a battle in a very large and very long war. greece was subject again and again to power after power. the city-state idea was nice but they should have givin in and nationalized fully. and sure rome defeated the huns, that was only due to the fact that flavius aetius was a prisoner for a year with them, grew up and used counter strategies against them. this and that idiot horonia and her danged letter.

@paulyhart I'm pretty sure greece got the best of persia. not to sound like an annoying 300 fan cause im not but it is history. alexander the great got the best of persia as well. the chinese realy didnt acomplish much. at least rome defeated the huns in the end, the chinese faught horribly against the huns.

ROME GREECE AND EGYPT. lol wow. i would have to say that there are around 15 better civilizations than greece: chinese, huns, persians, summerian, hebrew, assyrian, hittite, even the flippin maurya! ok and lets not forget the wonderful maya, teotihuacan, iroquois, creek, inca, aztec, sioux, algonquian... the list goes on... THEN greece. just because they reveled in their own supposed coolness and thought they were better then rome doesn't make them better. heh. greece... please.

@waynelover31 Hi, if you have access to medical journals on the net e.g. (PubMed) then please search for ancient egyptian or ancient nubians and anthropolgy. You will find many scientific publications from high impact factor medical journals that show the truth and facts that the closest and most similar race to ancient egyptians are the nubians and then come ethiopeans and eretrians. .
