v6 mr2 willow springs 5 29 09 - smoke screen vid

first day at the track for my new swap car ever. 1993 lexus 3.0 v6 3zvfe swaped into a 1991 toyota mr2 hardtop

car was working decent for stock brake pads, old stock front shocks , h&r springs. zero rear toe caused the rear of the car to move around when lifting the throttle. fun but a lil unsettling, 40 series as oppsed to 50 series tires on back would also have helped

i was one handing it because car was popping out of second gear(only time i was every happy about power steering) still quite the workout and didnt seem to hurt my lines too much. hoping a firmer rear motor mount fixes this issue

that was a mr2 buddies girlfriend riding with .. cavs will win the title this year btw

yes h&r springs. koni's in the back only .. crap in front. nose is too low with the springs. car needs custom front coils to help the roll center , front stiffness , etc which i need for more front traction

so hopefully i get this car back on the track with the front coils with koni inserts and stiff springs , rear rsr springs , brake ppv

You can fit a 2GR into a MK2? Is it s direct drop in or does anything have to be cut or modified to accomodate the engine? I have been thinking about doing a 1MZFE but if I can find a 2GR cheap enough and fit it into my MK2 chassis as easily, I would much rather have a 2GR.
