Great rendition from a great artist... not to take anything away from Pete Seeger's which I also love! To have this song played by such musicians makes me very proud to live on the Ohio-Erie canal at the intersection of the Greenville Treaty line and the Lake Erie & Wheeling railroad in Bolivar, Ohio!

My Uncle traveled to the Erie canal before he died at met with the branch of our family that still lives there. He was digging into our family history and found that our clan had helped dig the canal and had worked it. The house on the canal that they had lived in for generations was still there and they had bought it back after it had passed out of the family 80 or so years back.
