  • why wouldnt you mount the external oil cooler under/behind the motor!??!

  • Is that a CB hideaway turbo kit?

  • @abimmas I have a 2002 fuel injected beetle. As far as I know, fuel injected beetles were just a failed attempt to join the fuel injection era. But compared to a carburated beetle, they suck. ¿why? you can't modify them in any way. They are so delicate to handle and also spend more gasoline than a carburator. I mean, I love my beetle but If I had the money to make it carburated, I would without thinking it twice.

  • o i know all of the beetle parts companies trust me i'm not letting this one go i'm restoring it.

  • My advice is do not let that beetle go, hold to it for as long as you can. They are great means of transportation, easy as hell to fix and the parts are real cheap. An example of this is I just put in a new, not re-built tranny about 3 months ago and it only cost me 500.00 and that was with shipping from California to Texas and we put it in the span of a weekend. Look up a company by the name of ( cip1 imports ) in California. great service good prices and quick delivery. Peace.

  • o ok well i have dual carb webber progressive kit i think the size my engine is an 1886 cc it was built by a hot ride guy back in the early 1980's my aunt gave me her beetle so thats why i have one

  • You could probably kick my ass though in a race. I will have a stock 1776cc, the only semi-high performance I will have is a Weber progressive single carb., with Monza tip exhaust that has reduced back pressure and glass packs.
