The weather gods conspired against my solo cross country flight to CXY again (low vis and winds aloft out of 240 at 41knots). Not being one to waste a day at the airport, I opted to spend an hour doing practice takeoffs and landings. This time, the audio is coming from the intercom and the camera is secured to the dash with a Clamperpod (www.clamperpod.com).
In case you don't know what some of the terms mean here they are defined:
Vy = best rate of climb speed
Vx = best angle of climb speed
Vr = rotation speed

  • What do you have the camera mounted to (is it a clamp type mount)?

  • Go to clamperpod . com and that's what I use. I haven't tried it above 2Gs and it seemed fine.
