Thanks for this! I'd say mid sixties but bits at the end, with the radio playing in the background, are from seventies. High Speed Train spotted at 6.10. - somewhere between Stockton and Darlington methinks. Great to see Stockton station with its splendid roof!
There's a video from 1989 and the town looked good back then I say it went down when they started messing with the roads where's it character and original shops and places gone too? There also a hell of a lot more on the market
@TheStickQueen92 Indeed- I imagine all the shops and inns they knocked down to make way for te Castlegate centre wouldhave helped preserve a bit of that spirit. Wellington Square took take some business away from the other parts of the town centre (yet they still haven't managed to fill all the spaces) but the real culpit is probably Teesside Park. The angry people? You see them in the town centre a lot too. Hopefully the place will be revived soon and it won't be such a dead end dump!
