My question is... why didn't any civilian do anything? You're telling me no one (like a car dealership) had a spot light they could have put on it? No one had a private helicopter/ultralight and didn't fly up to see what it was?

Some people claim they were flares....however......how can flares maintain perfect equa-distance from each other not to mention altitude and formation integrity while pivoting horizonally? I sure don't know.

I have an idea that will solve the mystery ....

DROP THE FLARES AGAIN.

If they were military flares, prove it.

Let everyone know, set a time, let TV crews there and the world watch you fly the same course and drop the same flares.

If they test is too expensive for the military to repeat, I bet enough money could be raised to cover the cost.

Come on Military - drop the flares again. Or shut up.

They did stage a flare demo in 2000, but witnesses say there was no similarity to what they saw.

i was actually there for that, the thing was HUGE and you cant see through the object, so it was solid and it was insane. It was really low and it was amaing

I saw these that night. I was driving home after work from Mesa to Phoenix. I was on Highway 60 and the lights came close so I pulled off the road to watch them. I could easily hear they were helicopters. So many military helicopters for years from the base by Papago park or where ever. I use to see many of the helicopters in the day time so it didn't suprise me. Later it made such news but no one wanted to hear I heard them and they were obviously helicopters

"I'm a pilot and was in the u.s. air force 4 years. Being in the mountains on highway 40, the night was clear and still. As the formation came towards me I stopped and got out with my binocs to check out what this was. As it came towards me, I saw 5 aircraft with there running lights and the landing lights on. Hmmmm well it makes sense that the goverment acts like its ignoring these things... I mean how would people react? I think it would cause total chaos ... let's face it we are all scared of the unknown and I'm not saying the government should hide these things but as long as nothing is 100% clear there's nothing else that can be done but wait and see what happens...Plus sci-fi makes things worse -_-
