This is our surfing, sailing and drinking road trip across Australia. Australia Road Trip. From Perth across the Nullarbor to Newcastle for the Cherub Sailing Nationals, up to Brisbane and the Gold Coast for a party, surfing down to Sydney before driving all the way home again, making a detour to the south west of Western Australia. This is Perth!

haha sorry for sounding crazy I bet everyone in Australia knows these guys but see in America NO ONE knows them...its so sad

how long time did you spend on this trip and what was your budget?

@fenny87 Hey mate, well depends, expenses were about $2,500 -$3,000 each for 6 weeks but i would say that $1,000 of that we spent at sailing nationals for accom, registration, food and the like...because there were 4 of us we could spread the costs of shopping and petrol pretty well!

We are three boys from norway who`s coming over in october and we are planning exact same route, just oposite. did you sleep in tents every night or did you use hostels?

@fenny87 We mostly slept in tents to keep it cheap, but on the gold coast we stayed in an apartment and Sydney we stayed in a hotel. Check out Wicked Campers they hire out cheap vans which you can sleep in and look pretty cool too!
