  • Hi Leslie, I was in B.Cal. 1978 to 1986 and travelled to Chile on a couple of occasions to play solo with a girl highland dancer (for B. Cal./British Embassy/British Council), so no tenor drummer on those occasions. It might have been Iain Sinclair, brother of piper Graeme Sinclair. They were both in B. Cal. when I joined in 1978. Unfortunately I'm not in touch with them. Bob

  • Do you by any chance know of a Tenor drummer who went to play in Chile in the 70's? he went alone and met a piper from Buenos Aires and they both went for a Burns Night in Santiago.

  • John Walsh: it was great playing in B.Cal. back in the 70's and 80's - I remember your playing at band practice at Gatwick. Best wishes - Bob Ash (Surrey, U.K.)

  • oh man! Marjorie Lowe rules. I play it alot as a warm up tune, but i hope to play it in light music competitons some day...
