if you switch the tub get a 2 or 3" body lift to help clean mud and salt outta the frame to save the frame longer...

Bill I think the negative backlash is because this is such a terrible vehicle to start from. I think you will find that there is just about nothing left of the frame after you scrape off all the rust. I would donate money if it was going towards something worth while. I feel this jeep is a dead end. Sorry Bill.

If it was just floors i say giver` but she`s toast , part it out , get your money out of it and find a better one ... start again .. maybe find a "project gone wrong" a half finished one and swap parts .

@billstmaxx dude seriously I'd even donate if I knew it was going to something worthwhile... If your going to spend another 5 grand you can get a pretty decent TJ which is a way better model.. I used to be in the jeep scene and honestly starting with a yj was a huge mistake..

If your gonna spend the 5grand get a nice TJ you'll be much happier with it as well.

Does Canada as whole use a salt melt on the roads?

I lived in indiana, and they still do, my poor minivan is on the same boat as the YJ, rusing on the bottom forthe msot part, but up here in alaska, we use a salt immitation and gravel.

Hey Bill, I watch and enjoy all your vids, not just these Jeep ones. Something that really pisses me off is the pure abundance of idiots that spew all this garbage from their fingertips; I'd donate 20 bucks for something like this...but I also must say that for 4 grand you would probably be able to get a non-rusted frame for that price and just swap everything that's good from the one your working on :) I've had projects like this and it just keeps getting worse :(
