  • @dewbunny110362 Do you have something against this lovely actress? I see you comment about her often.

  • Field got her start on television as the boy-struck surfer girl in the mid-1960s surf culture sitcom series, Gidget

  • so plain and simple .. very limited range

  • She's my hero. :)

  • LOVE HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Britain Salutes You Sally Field

  • I remember her in "Gidget", "The Flying Nun", "Sybil" and "Smokey and the Bandit" ... but the film that absolutely riveted me was "Norma Rae!" It inspired me to seek fairness in the workplace and to stand up against the supervisory personnel when it was proven they were wrong on an issue and my co-workers were right! Thanks, Sally!!!!

  • She is awesome! I loved her in Sybil. She is an amazing actress. She started young and aged with grace. She's one in a million.

  • She's just incredible. A career that spans 5 decades is rare in hollywood.

  • Wait...did Strasberg say "weren't" or "were"?
