@daisychick08"You look black " because You are black, just not african american. Black is a race, african american is a culture. My parents are cap verdean, I am black but not african-american my ethnicity is cape-verdean american. Just like irish people are white (race), their ethnicity is irish-american. People confuse the two. When I tell people I am not african-american they get offended. It is not my ethnicity, jamaican, dominican we are all black with different ethnicities. Just FYI :)

@lovelyti2002 I can't stop thinkin about the fact that her PARENTS had her extradited back home - and seeing her expression on her face - she was so blank and emotionless - like she was tryin to look like she was ok with the whole thing - this whole thing is disturbing in a way cuz that girl was doing better than 75% of us over here that are adults!!

from an old black man, she should be left in Colombia. the family should be sent to jail for trying to sue anybody. the family wants to blame everybody but her. it shows the girl is a dumb ass, so are the grandmother,and mother. face it your child did wrong, why blame the world? i'm so tired of black people doing dumb things and never taking responsibility for your actions.

lol That will teach her to use an assumed identity. Harsh lesson but it was her fault. I do feel kinda sorry for her though. Sometimes the consequences of a teens actions are more than they expect.

If she were in a white family, she would have been in grief counselling probably with her family. Black people call on prayer but otherwise don't take mental health issues seriously. I think we underestimate the effect this has on us.
