  • @TJPerformance so because they are bred to performe, it's o.k. to treat them unfairly and use training methods wich clearly effect the horses health. What kind of logic is this?

  • THIS IS ANIMAL ABUSE!!!!!!!!!

  • @farbschlacht useless

  • .... pretty sure he knows what he's doing. Any equine sport at a professional level asks a lot from the horse (which is an athlete in this case). To me he shows the horse black and white pretty good. It's hard to say where abuse starts. Isn't it abuse, that we ride animals at all?

I gotta go to work every day... that sometimes feels like abuse, too....

  • This guy is a champion? I don't even see how he remains in the saddle with all that chicken wingin and butt floppin... and his had are so high and uses the mouth and reins for balance....WOW....

  • @barrelover4life; if this is correcting, abuse wille be the poor horses death. I worked for Tom in the 90ties, he was correct with his horses at the time. This has nothing to do with horse training whatsoever in my opinion. Sickening, unfortunately this happens a lot, but as long as they keep winning the big money nobody is going to stop any of them. worst thing is; people take this as an example...........

  • One thing my reining coach taught me was to NEVER Yank on the horses mouth. some riders make me cringe

  • Because.. Yeh, if you just pull the reins a little harder, the horse will totally understand what you want him to do.. Of course.

  • how do you people ever expect to train a 1000 pound horse without occasionally using rein pressure. WOW.

  • I like reining...but this makes me sick....
