George Peppard was a versatile actor. He could play practically any role and any character with real feeling and intensity. Here he plays a hippie (a role that was rare, even for him!) in this rare, out of print film, "What's So Bad About Feeling Good?" (1968). Mary Tyler Moore co-stars with him, and you've never seen her in such a role either! It's a feel-good movie. He sheds his beard later in the movie, and looks more like his usual self. The toucan is central to the story, coming to N.Y.C., and infecting everyone with a happiness virus that causes euphoria naturally. New Yorkers end up treating each other with kindness, love and respect... Wow! In this month's e-zine, we are featuring this movie... so if you want to feel good, why don't you check out George Peppard's tribute fan club, where it's free to join, and the e-zine is also absolutely free! And a bonus? You'll learn a lot more about George Peppard than you thought you knew about him. He was wonderful as Hannibal in The A-Team, but his diehard fans know he did so much more in his 40 years as an actor. Join us in remembering George at: www.georgepeppardforeverfanclub.com

  • Thank you very much! Yes, he was the best!

  • This movie needs to come out on DVD; it's fun and never got the attention it deserved. It is never shown on TV anymore.

  • Contact the fanclub. We can get it to you easily... ;-)

  • Yes, and that German accent he did was perfect! I think he really enjoyed being in that movie very much...

He brought the character of Herr H. to life!

Glad you affirm the music was from that era... I love it that we are in the same age group! ;-) and we lived through those times...and followed George's career for most of our lives!

Thanks for your great feedback! You are one special lady!

  • Glad you liked the footage... That music played at the exact time this movie was made... so I put it in for effect... you're too young to remember it, but I actually lived through the 1960s... ;-) and those are the kind of songs they would have been listening to... I thought it fit in well, and the MESSAGE was what mattered most. Yes, we certainly know and love all things George! He was and still is an amazing personality...gifted, unique, beautiful; magical...and a never-ending delight..
