http://www.actionpacked.com Introductory tutorial video on QoS basics. This video covers topics such as classification, marking, queuing, policing, shaping and link fragmentation.
@lazylyricss Know your key applications/services in your network which are critical and how they're communicating. Classify e.g. voice as first serve class, then business apps, put file transfers in the bulk class. Then manage to create service levels for each class. When you complete this steps and you know the baselines in detail, 'tadaa' - you got your picture of the network. Then choose (and understand) the mechanisms for each class, then test & implement the QOS levels end-to-end.
