  • I hear this guy was a dick

  • I never met him to make any comment on that, but would have been good to have tried push-hands with him or sword.

  • @phauna There's a lot more to tai chi chuan practice than doing a solo form, solo form is like basic movements of aikido but you don't just do basic movement in aikido you work with partners, same with tai chi chuan.

  • To be honest most people today take martial arts class to be badasses (cocky) or to participate in MMA tournaments, I dont know how many people consider martial arts as an art of the mind and body for health benefits and ones peace.

  • My friend, there is no separation between the healthy aspect of it and the martial art. if you want to learn, you must take what the universe is making available to you. it is there for a reason.

  • @crissxxx Honestly I think that people who are serious involved with mma training and tournaments , at least the people i know have lots of respect with wu shu and all martial arts. I practice boxing and self defense training today( i'm 30), but I was introduced to Tai chi yang since 10 years old. people that don't respect tai chi chuan don't understand martial arts. and i think this people have to exist for us to continue develop the essence of.

  • i agree with crissxxx martial arts is for peace and health benefits and its surprising how with all three related modern arnis, taekwondo, and tai chi chuan can take make just 1 average joe take a guy 289 pounds and flip them throw them and submission them so easily

  • @hawkwindthinman kind of reminds me of cats actually. they're really slow in movements... and then all of a sudden POW!

  • @HellHoundNP get Terry Dunne's DVD or VHS "Yang short form" to learn this style.

  • @crissxxx

i consider it an art of the mind and body for health benefits and ones peace, but haven't taken lessons for a while :( cost money i don't have, to be taught.

  • I love this video, it is timeless. Music is good, it is the juice like we say in France.

  • he's water bending!!

  • i read his book, the thirteen treaties of tai chi quan and was a great book, this man is a master among masters...he redeveloped the yang form to a 24 form style and taught the chinese military for a time, truly a great master!!
