RETOUCH COLOR. (ROOTS)

this is a demonstration on how i touch up my roots with color and refresh my ends. the color is matrix socolor 7r with a red booster. i use 30 vol. and a simi color to refresh my ends.

I think that you said you may be a cosmetologist, as I am. Whether you are, or aren't, may I suggest using two different developers for your roots and ends. Since your shaft and ends are already pre-lightened, you'd be good with a watered down 20, or even 10 volume so that you're not overprocessing. The 30 could be used for your roots, which are dark.

@truth2real well when you are retouching your roots you do them first. the ends are already colored so you do them last. you are thinking about if you are doing a fresh new color. but thanks and as you can see it turned out nice the way i did it. :)

@cutechoclatechip the best thing for you to do is stop using Bigen's product they are extremely difficult if not impossible to lift from the hair. I would suggest letting your hair grow out and that adding the color of your choice, if you are unsure see a educated hair colorist.
