McLaren MP4-12C vs Ferrari 458 Italia

In this video the high tech McLaren MP4-12C take on it's arch enemy the brilliant Ferrari 458 Italia, in the first test there will be a drag race which will also include the Porsche 911 Turbo S and the Noble M600 and afterwards the Mclaren and the Ferrari will be taken to Bedford to see which is faster around the track.

the mp4's 1:20 lap time is not valid because it did not start/stop at the finish line.

You cant just start anywhere in the circuit. that changes the dynamics a lot.

Ferrari owns McLaren. Fuck Top Gear lap times. McLaren is British and Top Gear is British so you know what to expect from that show.

@ASSHOLELA LOL what are you talking about? They started and finished the lap at the SAME point. Ferrari's lap couldve been faster if he hadnt fully turned the stability control fully off.

You can even see him countering oversteer and losing control at 10:33

yes i do. 6:57 by the time the mp4 12c corssed the finish line the timer showed 4s.

it suposedly started on the first turn before the start/finish straight, which gives it more room to accelerate and hence a faster laptime.

the mclaren won on the drag race but the ferrari topped everybody at the power lap.
