Silly video but, as for the pedantic responses: "America" surely can be continent (or if one prefers "the Americas" to encompass North and South America and islands) but "America" is also shorthand for "United States of America". Those who attempt to correct ignoring the concept of of context are also being ingnorant. It is perfectly acceptable for words to have different meanings in different contexts and one does not deny the meaning of the other.
