It's the first day of December and that means time to open the first door on your advent calendar. I hope I get a chocolate, I hope I get a chocolate, I got a chocolate! It's a tradition for many people to have the large rectangular card with windows on it and a daily treat waiting to be discovered behind each one. Which I thought was only for kids, but most of the people tweeting about it are adults so, I'll let you judge that as you will.

Want to share with the world reasons why you aren't dating someone? Then why not tweet it with a #wenottogether. Not "we're not together", oh no... there's no room for proper grammer on Twitter. Many people are today letting off some steam and telling you why you can't be with them. And judging by most of the tweets, you're lucky you're not.

And if you're Jewish it's time to wish you a Happy Hanukkah. Or Chanukkah if you prefer. And I'm sure you don't. People on Twitter are recognizing the start of the Jewish holiday which runs for 8 days and sending their Jewish friends holiday greetings. 8 days of Hanukkah equals 8 days of presents. Best holiday ever!
