This video briefly describes Fowler's 6 stages of faith. I also talk about being eclectic.

  • I very much agree with this Fowler guy. I'm also in the fifth stage. :D

And you're so sweet, trying so hard not to come across mean. :)

  • @maynardfangirl Yeah, I think the stages seem pretty accurate. And thanks, lol. I've been trying not to judge lately. :P

  • I had to laugh, because I've been struggling with putting people down lately too. I always say everyone has the right to believe what they want (I'm eclectic too) but then I catch myself getting irritated over Christian bumper stickers and such. And then I feel like a big hypocrite. Anyway, just stumbled across your channel and I really like your videos. I've been thinking of starting a vlog for my own Pagan journey, and now I think I will. You've inspired me. Thanks!

  • @sashimidragon Sounds EXACTLY like me. lol. It makes you feel awful, doesn't it? I also believe everyone has a right to believe in whatever they want and whatever feels right for them ... but then I find myself inwardly judging some more extreme branches of Christianity. Makes me feel just a little hypocritical, lol. Anyway, if you make videos I would be interested in hearing what you have to say about your path. I read your "About Me" description and we seem to have a whole lot in common. :)

  • AWESOME video!

  • @ChampagneandLipstick Thank you :) Glad you enjoyed!

  • Also. Most atheists I speak to seem to be stuck in stage two.

  • I think most republicans are in stage 1.

  • have you ever read the book into the wild, if you haven't read it, you should you will like it and if you read it do you think this stages apply to the main character?

  • Great video, I must have missed it when you originally posted it, but at least I caught it now haha :) When I look back at the different stages I been through I am so amazed...! All the stages are necessary so we shouldn't judge.

  • @SummerStitchinWitch It totally makes me feel awful. But my brain still goes "Judge! I judge you!" I hate it when my brain makes me feel like a hypocrite against my will. Anyway, yeah I feel like we have a lot in common too. I'm working on the videos. I've done a few practice ones. I'll upload one when I stop forgetting where I'm supposed to look when I talk to a computer screen. That's harder than I thought it would be. Lol.

  • @Chetallica That's true, people like that are everywhere and in every religion/faith/path. I guess this was a good learning experience for me though, so maybe if it ever happens again I'll be able to brush it off a little easier.
