It's the small States stupid! Obama's concentration on small states is the reason for his delegate lead. Clinton's advantage in Penn. has nothing to do with her popularity there.

  • I am not american, just pray who ever is president has your interests at heart. I have learned to trust politicians only after seeing their promises take shape in practical life. I am black and I think Obama speaks sense. However from my study of american history speeches like his has often attracted snipers from powerful interests ( the elites).

Your analysis is mature and intellectually stimulating. Thumbs up.

  • Excellent. Thumbs Up. You just got your video rented 5 stars.

  • You are one ugly arrogant POS! LOL

  • are you talking can't really tell?

  • Truth. Five stars enough said.

  • Also the DNC can probably seat the MI and FL votes and it still wouldn't change the outcome if they came to an agreement that Hillary gets her % of voters, and the other candidates give Obama their votes, then it would be an even split. The problem is not for Obama to win blue collar white voters but for him to maintain the white support he already has without being bruised and no more gaffes, and continue the momentum with strong blk votes.

  • Unfortunately Hillary is not well liked. McCain appearing more moderate and less conservative might steal voters who might normally support Hillary. He is more likeable and well received. Obama is well liked in the West above Hillary, in CO and among blks. Although the Hispanic votes are important, they are only important in states like CA and NY, NJ, all states that normally vote Democratic. Hillary might've win Texas but Kerry got 48% w/out Texas so not important.

  • Obama might also be able to pik up states like Kansas and New Mexico with Richardson's support and immigration. Kerry won relatively small # of states(mostly big states, democratic) and was still able to garner 48% of the general election. Obama might get all of Kerry's state but lose PA. However, that's not import because he will probably get VA, SC, NC, GA, MISS, AL, LA all overwhelmingly blk (even if only get 1/4 white vote). Hillary can only get Ohio and PA. Obama might also get CO.

  • This turned both white and blks off immediately, and gave the well needed credibilty for high blk support in SC. Furthermore, the Republicans are worried about the blk vote which Obama more than any other democratic candidate previously has energized to vote. As a result, the Republicans might lose seven important southern states in the general election, overwhelmingly blk, if Obama wins nomination. But Clinton will only be able to pik up states like Ohio and PA if nominated.

  • the small towns that were also forgotten. He left the black voters for last which was smart. If he had received a high percentage of black support in the beginning then this would've labeled him the blk candidate, and ultimately turned off white voters. However, because Obama knows blk voters...he knew they would've eventually supported him if there was a high white support. After gaining the white support instates like Iowa and even NH,Bill Clinton labeling him as a blkcandidateseemedabsurd
