  • My teeth are so tight that I can't use floss without my gums bleeding excessively. Using a waterpik definetly has saved me from toothloss.

  • I have really, really tight teeth, and floss is really uncomfortable for me. Because of that, I have packages of floss that have gone unused, and I'm concerned that I'm not taking the best care of my teeth. As someone who uses this technique, which I've just learned about, do you recommend I get a professional cleaning, before starting with this? Also, is it at all painful? Thanks a lot.

  • The best way took after your teeth is brush and yse mouth wash straight after you have a meal, try reduce fizzy sugary drinks and sweets ( candy)

  • Is it better to brush first and then use the water flosser or the other way around?

  • Been using this for 4 days now, lets just say, i floss twice a day now, vs doing it once a month the old fashioned way lol.

This is a life saver and you actually will enjoy it.

BTW, took me two days to not wet my shirt and bathroom up haha

  • Where can i buy a water pik can someone please help me , i have like 10 cavitys and i am so scared of the dentist and i dont wanna have my parents yell at me for eating to muh candy

  • @EpicFailureee Some people have sensitive gums. But if you floss regular then this will stop them bleeding. Most bleeding is caused by bacteria, so you're either not flossing brushing correctly or your going too hard with the floss. Or you have the start of gum disease. Either way its not the floss.

  • @yippe not really, because whenever I floss my gums bleed because my teeth hurts after I floss, but I floss everyday.

  • @MediocreNews Usually the reason this happens is a build up of plaque. The plaque may chip leaving a sharp egde catching the floss. I recommened seeing a dentist for a clean and tell him whats happening. It may be something worse like a split in your tooth.

  • There is no way this is as effective a flossing. And your gums bleed due to bacteria, from irregular flossing.

  • @CharmingMan27 Oh, man! Me too! It's terrible. Not every tooth but particularly in the back on the bottom, the dental floss literally gets stuck and it shreds trying to pull it out for me (the floss, I mean). Painful!

  • waterpik means waterpenis in dutch!
