@Nchandra1975 -=--------------violence never solve anything ------------->Well most countries in the world got their independence thru violence.....we haven't had our war from colonialism yet.....may b these guys are indeed the modern day Indian National Army???? We ROLLED OVER colonialism in 47 not EXPELLED it keep in mind.
As an Indian it makes my blood boil when I see my government sidelining the local Indians to benefit foreigners and wealth hoarders and nation looters.

It is the first time in India's history that the oppressed Agrarian and especially Tribal is getting representation. Taking up arms against u r own country is not something u do "in a jiffy" - u do it after u suffer exploitation, and humiliation and apathy.
Even in "civilized" areas we get to taste corruption of police and govt like the bribes 4 even putting a stamp on a paper....imagine in Tribal remote places!!!
I'm glad the agrarians FINALLY found representation thru these guys.

u might have a point... this is what the concept of society should tend to and will tend to... wherein everyone is made accountable from the prime minister to the naxal. if the naxals think they are doing good for the society, society should account for their work and also acknowledge it if beneficial, but also refute it if harmful... unfortunately the tribals are not prepared for this scrutinization stuff... hence all they are left with is faith over their leaders.

My dear friend, in an unequal society there are sections which are oppressed and the oppressor. one who takes sides on behalf of the oppressed cannot take cudgels on behalf of a machinery(Police) which works for them. Don't expect this equal treatment which is a misnomer being propagated by the governments to discredit the human rights groups among people who don't have knowledge on their working.

A great speaker may not be a good leader. But a good leader who is capable is enough to send shivers down the spine of our leaders like Chidambaram and Manmohan singh who don't tire in the service of the imperialists and continue to rhetorically say Naxals are the most important threat to the nation. But for these groups, issues of tribals and the poor would have for ever remained in the backburner.
These guys fought for their whole lives for the people who can't speak for themselves, who don't know their fundamental rights, who lived (and treated by landlords and others) like animals. Take an example, without their presence in AP how all the nature and lands are destroyed by the bada naya gunda Jamindari system. There couldn' t be any holistic solution for these problems than start talking to these fighters in a democratic way. Jai Human rights and our own mother 'Nature'

to have an unbiased judgement on an action, we need to know the facts from all the facets. one must keep in mind that communism is a highly evolved movement and naxalism, as one of its actualization, started with enlightment of the educated section of community like students, professors. these guys were willing to sacrifice their personal interests for the greater good of the society. they were able to mobilise the masses...
