Large American families are a popular focus of reality TV. "Jon & Kate Plus 8," a show about a couple with eight children, is one of the most-watched reality TV shows in America. Viewers observe parents juggling between raising many kids and keeping their relationship alive. The families become, overnight, celebrities. But can these families survive the pressure? VOA's Penelope Poulou has a look.
large is a misnomer; a family had 5+ kids before contraception took hold and destroyed our families, culture, bodies, and souls

I'm certain she abhors having her family referred to as a tribe. I have 11 children, we are not a tribe & my older children are not quasi parents. What a ridiculous statement.

JUST FOR THE RECORD...
Hannah does have a community. She's a member of a great church and has an incredibly close knit extended family. The older siblings do babysit, but that happens even when you just have 2 kids.
I think that featuring her and comparing her to Jon and Kate was a little ridiculous. She writes and blogs, but most of her stuff is done locally. Her kids are only featured in videos they make themselves, or if someone happens to grab a cell or flip camera. Back off.
