@breezwonder rather...Bam is to Hip-Hop what Johnny Pacheco is to Salsa...both terms were umbrella terms created to describe multiple creations that united them. this is why folks today dont know the difference between a son, a guaguanco, a charanga...they just call it salsa...while in hip hop, its the opposite, people dont associate graph + b-boying with Hip Hop at all...ur in full public view calling Hip Hop a musical art form...despite graphitti being a non-musical art form

@breezwonder how is graphitti a MUSICAL art form and still 1 certified and well known arm of HIP HOP? Bambaataa named it hip hop to describe THE culture, the music of DJs ( which is an ARTFORM ) , rapping ( which is an ARTFORM) , the dancing of b-boys and b-girls ( which is an ARTFORM) , and graffiti art ( which is an ARTFORM) Latinos ( specifically Puerto Ricans ) were involved from the START..Bam did NOT CREATE the art of b-boying or graphitti.

@MuchachoGazbacho I'm glad u r not Ignorant like most who try to make excuses. I mean American Music is basically Black music. Rap,Hip Hop ,R&B,Jazz rock &Roll. People just need to fess up. I don't have a problem saying that Lowriders, Locs and Bandanna's are Latino art form.

@breezwonder But as umZulu I warn you to be careful not to name hip-hop as mono-race based. The thing is, in my country kwaZlulu, South Africa, our grand parents say rap is nonsense because they used hip-hop to teach moral tales. Yeshua was an Afrisian in body but the thing is, when He was crucified, He died for all races. Take it from (not black any more but) an Afrisian. We need peace man. Sure:)

I think Chino XL and Latinos are getting Creation and Contributions confused when It comes to HIP HOP. Hip Hop is a solely Black Musical art form created by Kool Herc and Africa Bambatta in 1972. Latinos gave LATER contributions!

@EmpressEricka What are you talking about? You ever been to the projects before? Especially places like New York, Chicago, Toronto, etc. people of all colours and ethnicities stay saying nigga in the hood and nobody cares at all
