@Drjimbillybob the victory parade was only booked in advanc in case they did win so the city of lonon was prepared to cope with such an event. im sure the likes of spain, holland, germany, brazil etc would have had similar contingancy plans in place but as usual, the scottish media made out it was some arrogant move on the english's part.

no one in the enlish media ever ever stated england had won the world cup before a ball kicked. why are people in this country so stupid to believe that?

@azertyuiop32 Not in the slightest, I always want England to get beat due to this, im not the only one and we're not the only nation to wish that, if their media wouldnt overhype the England team and if the team wasnt full of overpaid disgraces (terry cole crouch) then I wouldnt go out my way to wish them defeat, this isnt the case though. Also which world cup were you watching? just about every english media had england winning the thing B4 a ball was kicked, hence the "victory" parade on a bus

i agree their media does go overboard but the english media never once said england WOULD win the world cup, that is an urban myth invented by people in this country. the english media only said that if they played to their maximum they had a chance. i dont see anything wrong with that.
