Kris Rudolph, Culinary Adventures, teaches us how to make a fresh salsa the old fashioned way using a molcajete (like a large mortar & pestle) - the texturre and taste are very different from a salsa made in the blender, even when the same ingredients are used

  • Nice work...really looks good!!!

  • question is the tomatillos cooked on one side only or were they flipped so the other side would have a chance to cook as well?

  • Not bad... they actually do it right. lol my mom used to do it just like that. Pretty soon we'll all be capable of replicating the authenticity of every nations cultural kitchen tricks to the point where a caucasian can make perfect mexican food and a mexican perfect italian food. Oh wait they already do, who do you think is in all those New York City Italian restaurants. lol. None the less this really helped me cos i had actually forgotten how to do this so i had to watch your video. thanks!

  • nice molcajete where you buy it

  • What a beautiful mortar she has!
