The Smithereens cranking out "Behind The Wall Of Sleep" in full Jersey style, at B.B. King's Blues Club in New York City. (Pardon the occasional camera panning to the ceiling... I had to disguise my filming at times.) Filmed January 18, 2008. Good up-close footage of Jim Babjak in action. Funny antics with Jim and Thrilla doing the "Bill Wyman." AWESOME ending with Jim, Pat, and Thrilla... and a pretty comical moment when Jim drops his pick while scratching his head!

  • 2 months and counting, Christine! LOL!

  • Woo-hoo! Can't wait!! Right up front, baby!! (Better be GA again-- not full cabaret like '07. I need to get in people's faces!!) LOL.

  • This clip shows how much Jim is a fan of Pete Townsend. P was a big influence on him, which is one of the many things that make Jim a great guitar player.

  • Oh yeah... then check him out in my footage of "Blood and Roses" in Montclair, NJ. No where is it more evident than there! :)

  • Hey! Where's a video clip for "I Don't Wanna Lose You" by the Smithereens?

  • I missed the Edison show tonight. :( Weather was too ominous for an outdoor event. Didn't need another Iron Maiden PNC episode. Next time...

  • Pat, you'll probably never read this, but I just wanted to thank you for making me feel better. I am sitting here so tired, but wanting to write this so badly. I just went through surgery and hopefully am recovering from thyroid cancer. I am was sitting here feeling so sorry for myself, but your music took me away from my troubles and made me feel good about myself at least for a few minutes.

  • Still beautiful.

  • A kiss for Pat. I loved you then and I love you now.

  • Gotta love the "she stood just like Bill Wyman" pose

  • Yep.
