@jlmpeace27 Cool! thx
-
@BadSneakers yes it was planned, his wife is the drummer and ive heard they live neer by so i guess thats why he showed up to all 4 shows they did in oakland.
-
@jlmpeace27 Then it had to planned, don't you think? Or does Carlos attend concerts with his guitar? :)
-
@BadSneakers no he had his own. It was a prs santana signature. vernon was using his signature parker.
-
So I take it Santana must have borrowed one of Vernon's guitars?
-
Cindy is married to Carlos Santana? DAMN! That shit breaks my HEART!

I saw the show the day before this, it was crazy, jack walked past me and walked back stage, then john medeski was walking my way so i shook his hand and asked if he could help me meet jack, and he said yes after the show,so on my way to sit down i noticed carlos santana was sitting right infront of my seat, i quickly said hi and had him sing my ticket,then the show began,after i found john by the stage and he helped me meet jack, GREATEST SHOW IVE SEEN!!!...Thanks John

yep I was there. Vernon killed too. I'd love to hear him go guitar-cable-amp instead of running through the roland digital thing...

sweet. got any more? was this 8pm or 10pm set?
@PWay = The show was outstanding. Each musician was at the top of his / her form. Jack Bruce in particular was thunderous, considering his health and age, and Vernon Reid would have made Hendrix say "wow."
@foilsvids = 8pm set. Sadly, this is all I have; an usher was headed my way so I turned off the camera. Their policy is said to be strict, and I wasn't about to be thrown out. :-)
