just curious, where it was the Animal Protection in this story? I did not hear a sound from that side. also, wonder how is that that the whale've got lost directly in the vejle fiord? did she came after any ultrasound? she knew exactly which city is burning after a whale to be expose on a museum.sorry, I am sarcastic and very "mistenksom". this story is stinking very bad.

@HartaRomaniei It is a male. They found out today. 24 tons, length about 17,5 metres and very thin. Weight for a fin whale of this size should at least have been 3 tons more. Most properly it was already weak before it, by “failure” made the wrong direction towards Vejle and got lost. Nobody wanted this to happen. "Fins" are not native to Denmark. Worldwide it is not unusual whales sometimes strand and die because of illness/weakness. Thanks for your interest in “our whale”.

June 20. 9.30 AM: News tells the fin whale is still alive. But activity is lower. It is still high water and it is difficult seeing /deciding how much life there is. But it also seems “the famous whale” does not intent giving up life just like that......sorry about my English. I am thinking about visiting Vejle today; shall I, shall I not...I don’t know.....
