The very first part of an infamous one and a half hour special Geraldo did back in the 80s when he first got national attention for obsessing over the occult. Geraldo, it seems, believed that the words of a few former "Satanists" (turned evangelical christians of course) were trustworthy, while the claims of leaders within the Church of Satan, or other similar groups, were not to be trusted.

The Satanic explosion of the 80s was a strange time in American History, with Radio Werewolf, Boyd Rice, the Lavey family, Charles Manson, and white occult supremacists seeming to be lumped together into a hash by the confused evangelical media owners. However you do have to give these people credit for trying- remember Reagan was the president at the time.

Satanism doesnt' make people selfish and self serving, it reaffirms the fact that ALL humans, christians too, are innately self serving.
