This is hilarious...it sounded like that one old guy bought 3-4 houses. What is he planning on doing with them, flipping them?! Waiting until house prices go up?! He's in for a nasty surprise...

LOL!!! I just spent $54,000 on my teeth! No joke, full mouth smile makeover, and that was the cheapest quote I could find in Oregon.
There's no economic depression in Dentistry, they are raping the uninsured like never before.
If you want to get rich in this economy, become an oral surgeon specializing in dental implants, you'll be rich within months like my dentist, he's only 29 yrs old and already owns a 2.4 million home, 3 Mercedes Benz and flies to his 3rd home in Bermuda 4 times a year...

It's truly euphoric watching this bubble unwind.

............and all the good folks in this video.........overpaid for these properties! We won't see the bottom for quite a while as 2/3 of all foreclosures have not hit the market as of yet!

When having a venture with real estate business. There are many factors that needs to be consider. Like the feasibility studies of the place and about the pricing of the each prospect property.

The main industry in most of these areas is home building. Real estate agents, bankers, homebuilders, appliance salesmen, home repair, cable tv. Its neo-cannibalism a closed system. An insane perpetual motion machine that has broken. It might sound like a good idea to buy these houses, until some NYC slumlord buys a bunch in a few years. Sets them up as section 8 and the neighborhood resembles Beruit on a bad day.
I don't think those town houses are such a great deal. If You look on Zillow at for sale listings, you can find new homes for under 100K, No HOA fees and larger lots.
