The PMRC, headed by Tipper Gore and the other "Washington wives" put together senate hearings to produce some legislation regarding music lyrics. John Denver called it censorship.

Tipper Gore is a fat stupid cunt. She could find the cure for cancer tomorrow and I'd still consider her a fat stupid cunt because of what she did in the 80s. "The images frightened my children, they frightened me! I am frightened! Way frightened! The graphic sex and the violence were too much for us to handle," she said.

The PMRC was silenced without a way to intelligently respond to John Denver. He owned em' that day. Thank God for John Dnver, Frank Zappa, Dee Snyder, and all the artists who stood up for what was right.

He hit the nail right on the head here. I can't believe that his wise words, ideas and morals have been hidden behind modern society. We need John Denver right now- we need him and everything he stood for.
