We are family and friends of the Akers Family that are trying to assist the family. The goal of the Akers Angels Fund is to raise enough money to build a wheelchair accessible house that would allow mobility for Brooke and Faith. Please help us attain our goal of $300,000 so we can make a family's dream come true.

Please! Please forward this video to everyone you know. Let's help this family. They need an architect to do the drawings for the home. They need furnishings inside the home. Medical equipment. A handicap van as both girls now have a motorized wheelchair. They need donations to fund the home. Any help no matter how small is significant. Brooke goes to my school now which is Madison. (: She's so nice. Oh and she has alot of new friends. I don't care if she has problems with walking because if I was that way then I wouldn't want people hating me because of it. She's a nice person! (:

I watched this episode on TV and it's great that they go their house, but I felt so bad that the little sister seemed to be ignored throughout the whole episode. She was in the background and not even mentioned at all through a lot of it. It can't make her feel very good about herself and she seems like a very sweet little girl.
