CNN International reported that on Tuesday March 8, Women's International Day, Egyptian women took to the streets of Cairo demanding equal rights, only to be countered by other women who asked them to "cover their heads and go home." According to CNN International, in the new interim government of Essam Sharaf, there is only one woman minister.
