@Ruhe1986 Don't quote me on this, but I think you can legally do a cover if you don't use anything from the original recordings. Companies like WMG own the copyrights to the vocal tracks, instrumentals, etc, but if you use your own voice and play your own background music, those companies don't own it so they can't claim anything. But again don't quote me on that.

And the WORST cover song that I have ever heard is

the Michael McDonald version of "Ain't No Mountain

High Enough" ... Oh No ... Wait ... it was that girl on

the American Idol tryouts who actually auditioned

by imitating the Michael McDonald version of

"Ain't No Mountain High Enough". LOL =D

I agree. Its really rude to complain about a version of a song. When a band does a cover of a song they are basically paying that band a compliment.
