@Lucailey - I agree on safety issues completely. Just don't be taking property away from my kid that doesn't belong to you. You can certainly pick up the phone and call me and tell me to come get it but it better not be destroyed or held. I will deal with my child and make sure that he doesn't bring it back to school. School officials sometimes have a bit too much chutzpah and get a God syndrome. I'm not speaking about discipline.

I agree with the skateboarding rule because someone can get hurt but,I don't think he should be allowed to take away a skateboard for good.
