Yes, Hitler was a war-mongering jerk who attacked the US.

Yes, GWB was a redneck, who despite his flaws, did what was needed at the time (& will be remembered in history as a person who fought for democracy & freedom).

You probably know, that Hitler declared war on the US, knowing this was not part of the Axis' agreement.

And yes, FDR kinda welcomed Pearl Harbor, 'cause it served his agenda. Just like the Tonking-Incident for LBJ and 9/11 for JWB.
