here's a comparison vid between my blow off valves. i now sport the TiAL Q 50mm BOV, which feels way better in holding boost. the RFL leaked like ass even when shim-adjusted. this shows that TiAL is one of the better made BOV's out there for your subie.

  • Just curious, why did you switch to a pull thru MAF?

  • @Mistavio I first had it in blow-thru, the MAF leaked out pressure. So I had to reseal it and temporarily move it before the turbo until I got my Nissan N60 MAF. I reinforced the N60 to run blow-thru again.

  • @Marshmallowrex From my 12 years of experience on boosted motors, HKS, TurboXS, and Greddy BOVs leak. TiAL did not, so I don't even bother going elsewhere. True, TiAL wastegates are the best on the market, that's why everyone and their brothers use it. But when shopping for BOVs, go for performance, not just for sound like a true ricer.

  • The first pull wasn't too hard.

    My redline is only 6000rpm and the tune wasn't perfect at the time. Really boggy and rich.
