Another card-flippin' music video in the Subterranean Homesick Blues genre invented, of course, by Bob Dylan. This one is about the current state of The Episcopal Church (TEC), a.k.a., ECUSA, and the larger Anglican Communion, including references to certain Bishops and other Ecclesial Personages ... the 2008 Lambeth Conference, and the probability that chemical substance may have been involved in coming up with the current TEc "theology" ... the Golden Rule of which seems to be Sue Unto Others Before They Sue Unto You ... or something like that.

  • Paul, this is sheer brilliance! Is that Eliot at the end, walking AWAY, from left to right, with his back to the camera? And who played the Allen Ginsberg role in your video?

  • @Erlo3 - Allen Ginsberg is played by Jack Keck, a local actor and musician, who is friends with our band. Yes, that's Eliot. I did love doing this; it was so much fun. Then, it took off by being on the front page of Stand Firm for a day or so, and Ruth Gledhill of the London Times eventually picked up on it (she called me a "country crooner" or some such thing, I believe).
