@brewcitybroker Nice to have a lookback on stock analysis and see what happened after the fact. Of course who would have been or should have been buying this compnay in Sept 2009 when it was obviously in that trend no one should participate in but once it hit its buy point it has tripled. Cramer may have been instrumental in pushing this thing down to a buyers level. Could Cramer be a good indicator for a future buy when he runs the compnay down? Put Cramers sells on your watch list.

Many ebayers, even the ones who are still using ebay as they need to PUT FOOD in their BABIES MOUTHS, are also selling and buying on Bonanzle, onlineauction, eCrater,Ioffer, atomic mall, etsy and more. most with little or NO FEES and PAYPAL not REQUIRED!

Let's keep in mind that it's not the buyers or sellers that use ebay that are bad, most sellers are OK dudes. So why boycott sellers? If I were an ebay seller, I'd be really pissed at dfnwiz for his boycott against ebay sellers ''for change''? WTFIT!
The problem is ebay upper management, not buyers or sellers! It's JHoe and co. They get the $ regardless of boycott.
I wonder IF ebay is headed for Chinabay?
Don't boycott sellers! Help them, it's bad enough!

I know this is a hate fest thread/video, but just use a little rational. If you read my comments you will see I am trying to be objective. 1. I am an ebay seller and feel your pain. 2. Ebay is making some changes in answer to seller complaints -you have to be fair. 3. Who else can you get those prices from? virtual monopoly 4. As far as the stock price - it is a value stock right now 5.Using Cramer as your lynch pin is funny- this is the guy that said stay in Bear Stearns, AGI, ...

I wouldn't argue with you on the fact they have made mistakes and are poorly run. Are a lot of people pissed? Yes, I am one of them, but the stock has free-falled a lot (as has the market in general) Will it move down some from here? I don't know if I would bet on anything in the market right now. If you just shorted every company right now you would probably get rich. All I am saying is that this stock is value priced and at some point will turn around.

There's a second part to that Pirate. The new listing structure encourages multiple items and eBay rewards that in the search. How does that create urgency?
Management has consistently proven this year that they DO NOT understand social psychology one single bit. And that's your "bozofication" right there.
A+ Pirate!
I would also add that I have contacted them through a few layers -like you got pissed. This policy they have where they listened to the customer service people is silly. Who do you expect they are hearing from -pissed off buyers. The fact remains it stands a value stock and with some changes will take off. It is too big to just go away. The Paypal pickup was one of their genuis moves - of course that came from the old CEO.

PP was absolutely genius. I'll agree with you there.
But their management is moronic at best. See Pirate's comments below (and watch his stuff too).
I would wait until AT LEAST the third quarter results come out before considering a buy on this. When a company that provides traffic has a three week period where traffic is diverted to the "worst" and not the "best" before they fix the glitch, how could honestly say this is a "buy" right here?
This stock has some room to go down still.

It's less about the fundamentals and more about lack of knowing how the buying process works.
1. Why reject 15% of your users? Most transactions use PP anyway, so this will not boost their income much, if at all.
2. Why ban all digital goods? There were other solutions to their FB problems.
3. Month long listings? Yeah, sound good on paper, until you realize they promote a glut of stock that buyers feel no urgency to get.
4. Best Match literally making it chore to find stuff?
No thanks

By the way as a power seller I agree some of the policy changes suck. I also do think it has eliminated some bad sellers. They have back back-tracked a little recently to address that. If they have a true competitor I would think about leaving, but there isn't.
I do think the management at ebay is not good. They should be doing a lot better, but to think that the stock is going to go bankrupt is just crazy. This is actually a scary short.

Are you the same guy as thebrewnews blog? If so, good stuff. Keep it up.
