"The Lost Lakes of Bangalore" is a project to document Bengaluru's many tanks and lakes which have vanished with unplanned urbanization and growth.
This video by Supreeth G, Advaith S Rao, Purvaja, Shilpa and Swati from Class IX, KV IISc talks about Puttenahalli Lake which was a 10 hectare water body diminished due to encroachment of slum dwellers and builders.
Some part of the lake still exists and the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara palike has given to the lake authorities for rejuvenation.
