Drift Innovation HD170 under the wing camera mount on a Zenair CH-300 landing at Brampton Airport

Experimenting with different camera mounts. This time we're trying under the wing on a low wing Zenair CH-300.

The aircraft is powered by a Lycoming O-320, 150 HP, swinging a 72" Warp Drive propeller. It has basic day/night VFR instruments, a Grand Rapids EIS (engine information system).

Peter, how do you like the Drift Innovation so far? Would you recommend it or would you go with a different model? I'm thinking of getting one, mostly because it comes with a remote start/stop.

How didi you fix the camera under the wing?

@silv0381: we mounted a RAM mount to the wing tie-down ring. Happy it stayed on.

Nice vid, which Ram mount did you use? Always nervous of putting the cam outside. was thinking along the same route. wing and tail tie-downs
