I have read on many credible medical sites that the phenomena of the diet soda weight gain had more to do with how the body interprets the sugar substitutes than the "diet soda plus 900 calorie burger" suggestion. The research has shown that the body perceives nutrisweet, saccharine and such as a sugar and dumps insuline as it would in the case of actually drinking the real thing (pun intended). I believe this is a glycemic index thing. I just wonder why no one is reporting this.
Good Job, Doug.
Make some more.
